Solid backfilling is an environmentally friendly method of coal mining. Backfilling hydraulic supports are important devices in solid backfill In order to speed up the design and manufacturing process them, this paper proposes a support reformation evaluation. The mechanical models top-coal caving were established analyze stress characteristics main structure. ABAQUS was used establish 3D numerical model load-bearing characteristics, as well verify strength requirement. addition, structural compaction geological adaptation interference structure analyzed using motion simulation. After reforming, ramming force just above 2.0 MPa, utilization ratio old parts more than 50%, which saved costs new reduced waste idle support. successful application Tangshan mine showed rationality reform design.
